How to insert a Google+ button to your store in Shopify

Hence, you should connect the Google+ with your website by inserting a Google+ button to your store. This action can drive plenty of visitors to both your Google+ page and your website. To insert a Google+ button to your store

Firstly, make sure that you tap on this link to customize the Google+ button. You can decide its size, width, and language. In addtion, you can leave a note “inline”.

Step 2: Copy the code

In this step, take a view of all the codes on the screen. What you need to do is copy them. Below is an image illustrating what the code looks like.

Step 3: Open your Shopify admin

Open a new tab. Or else, you can click here to log in your account and go to your Shopify admin.

Step 4: Select Themes

You must have been in the admin page now. Look at the menu on the left of the page. Tap on Online Store. Then, select Themes.

Step 5: Click Edit code

All the themes are displayed. Find one of them you want to edit. Next, click Actions and go to Edit code.

Step 6: Click the theme.liquid file

Click to open the theme.liquid file in the Layouts directory.

Step 7: Paste the code

In this step, ensure that you paste the code you’ve just copied. Note that you should paste it before the </head> tag.

Step 8: Save

Tap on Save to save all you’ve done.

Step 9: Copy the code in the Google Plus page

Make sure to back to the Google Plus page by tapping on this. Afterward, copy the code which I’ve blackened in the following image.

Step 10: Open the product.liquid file

Go back to your Edit HTML/CSS page again. Find the file named product.liquid which is under the Templates folder. Then, tap on it to open.

Step 11: Paste the code

This step you will take is that paste the code you’ve copied. The location of the code is absolutely where the Google+ button will be displayed. For example, if you put it after ``, your button will be shown right after your product description.

Step 12: Save

Take the final step which is a tap on Save.

Step 1: Click Store
Sign in your Shopify account firstly. Afterward, click Store.

Step 2: Go to Online Store
You will see the Sales channels section. Make sure to press on Online Store in that field.

Step 3: Tap on Manage themes
Tap on Manage themes to continue.

Step 4: Click Edit code
All the themes are displayed. Find one of them you want to edit. Next, click Actions and go to Edit code.

Step 5: Click the theme.liquid file
