GoDaddy Email Marketing Review: Features, Pricing and More
Drive 20-40% of your revenue with Avada
Godaddy is one of the world’s largest (and highest-quality) domain, email, and web hosting providers, with over 18,000,000 users and 9,000 workers. Godaddy provides unique email addresses and hosting services at a low cost! In this article, I will provide you with a complete evaluation of GoDday email marketing, which will help you determine whether it is a good fit for your company. Let’s go right to the meat of the matter!
What is email marketing offered by Godaddy?
Before diving into the specifics of Godaddy’s email marketing, it is critical to understand what a personalized email address is, as this is critical for online businesses.
A personalized email address is one that includes your domain name. In our case, because we own AVADA.IO, our personalized email address is [email protected]. A personalized email address lends considerably more legitimacy to your company than a generic @gmail.com email address. Would you believe an email from your bank if it was from @gmail.com? Certainly not! Similarly, if you do not have a personalized email address, your consumers will not trust you.
There are numerous methods for obtaining a customised email address. However, if you’ve arrived at this article, you probably already have a Godaddy-hosted website (or are considering doing so) and want to receive an email address with your Godaddy hosting account.
Is it a smart idea to acquire a personalized email address with your Godaddy hosting service? The answer is unequivocally yes!!!
Godaddy email hosting is fantastic, and it has one of the lowest costs on the market! Let’s have a look at the various Godaddy email hosting plans and learn how to set up your own email with Godaddy.
The features of GoDaddy email marketing
Godaddy’s email marketing solution has a plethora of functions. You have everything you need to transform email marketing into an automated lead generation (money printing) machine, from built-in templates that you can quickly customize to automation tools. Here is the full list of features that GoDaddy supports:
-
Unlimited signup forms: A sign-up form is where you will ask your readers for their contact information. Having an unlimited number of forms allows you to customize each one depending on where you position it on the page. For example, the home page form may be as simple as a name and email address, but if you’re asking users to sign up to download a PDF, you may ask for further information such as what business they operate, what industry they work in, and so on.
-
Unlimited picture storage: This means you can save your product photographs on the server and easily select them to use in your emails. No more running out of storage space and having to upgrade plans and spend more money.
-
Professional templates: This is one of the most useful aspects. There’s no need to find a designer and work with them for hours to create a template. Use the templates provided and simply modify the colors to match your logo.
-
Mobile-friendly designs: How can you still have websites that aren’t mobile-friendly these days? The same goes for your emails. Because most people will be reading their emails throughout their daily commute, having mobile-first designs is essential.
-
Handling unsubscribes: Previously, when someone unsubscribed, you would just receive an email telling you. What if ten people unsubscribed? You’d have to go through your contact list and manually remove them. With Godaddy’s solution, they will automatically do that all for you.
-
Works with Facebook, Etsy, and Other Sites: The ability to interface with Facebook and Etsy will result in better emails. Assume you want to include your most recent social updates in your emails; the Facebook integration will take care of that. Do you want to highlight the things you sell on Etsy?
-
Automated email campaigns: This feature deserves its own paragraph to express how fantastic it is. When someone joins your email list, you may send them via a pre-planned sequence of emails and finally offer them things through emails. Everything is done automatically while you have fun or sleep.
-
This platform is the only one that converts blog postings to email: Why waste that content if you’re already spending so much time blogging? This tool will convert your blog entries into emails that will be distributed to your email subscriber list.
-
Emails that are sent on a specific date: This scheduling function will be useful for individuals who wish to stay on top of their workload. Make emails ahead of time so you don’t have to rush on the big day.
-
Share statistics with others: The ability to access and analyze data is critical to long-term success. Being able to export your data and share it with others, as well as get input from them, will be a huge asset in growing your project.
-
A collection of high-quality stock photos for making emails look more professional: This feature eliminates the need to hire an outside designer, and having access to a collection of high-quality stock photos saves time.
Godaddy’s email marketing pricing
Email marketing is a marketing approach that connects with users via email to promote products. Email marketing should be an essential component of any marketing campaign strategy! If this isn’t already part of your current marketing campaign, you should surely do something about it.
Godaddy also has excellent email marketing tools. If you have your own email address hosted with Godaddy, you should seriously consider purchasing Godaddy email marketing services on top of it. Godaddy offers three email marketing solutions; let’s have a look at what they have to offer and how much it costs.
The Beginner plan
Godaddy’s email marketing beginner plan includes all you need to launch a campaign with up to 500 subscribers and 5,000 emails per month. This is an excellent plan for small businesses, and I would recommend it to anyone launching a little marketing campaign with Godaddy. The following are the features available in Godaddy’s email marketing Beginner plan:
- Add more anytime
- Send up to 5,000 emails/month
- Up to 500 subscribers
- Basic image storage
- Single signup form
- Mobile-friendly designs
- Unsubscribe handling
- Professional templates
- Works with Facebook, Etsy & More
The basic plan costs 9.99 euros a month. However, it’s often discounted up to 50%. You can have a look at Godaddy’s website to see the current price.
The Up & Running plan
This package gives you the ability to handle up to 2,500 subscribers and send up to 25,000 emails per month. This plan is regularly priced at 14.99 euros per month, but as with all Godaddy email marketing plans, it is frequently discounted by up to 50%. The following are the features that Godddy email marketing Up and Running offers to offer:
- Up to 2,500 subscribers
- Add more anytime
- Unlimited signup forms
- Unlimited image storage
- Send up to 25,000 emails/month
- Professional templates
- Unsubscribe handling
- Mobile-friendly designs
- Automated email campaigns
- Works with Facebook, Etsy & More
- Unsubscribe options
- Converts blog posts to email
The Pro plan
The Godaddy email marketing pro plan is a professional plan that allows you to have up to 5,000 subscribers and send up to 50,000 emails every month. To make this method work, you must execute big email marketing campaigns.
So I would only propose the Pro plan if you truly believe you will have 5,000 members. The pro plan costs 29.99 euros per month. This isn’t cheap, but I’m sure you won’t mind if you’re operating a large enough email marketing campaign for this plan.
Godaddy’s Email Marketing Hosting: Pricing and Plans
Godaddy provides domains and hosting at a very reasonable price. Godaddy’s plans become even more competitive when combined with Godaddy email and website hosting. Of course, if you want a more comprehensive bundle, you can also administer WordPress and Microsoft Office directly from your Godaddy account.
I highly recommend obtaining a whole package from Godaddy because having all of your internet properties (websites, emails, domains, etc.) in one place is quite convenient. Godaddy email hosting is also extremely secure. Your information is secure, and Godaddy will not use or access it! Godaddy email hosting is based on Microsoft Outlook (Microsoft). This is fantastic because it is easily connected with all Microsoft programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc..).
The Essentials plan
The Email Essentials plan is the entry-level Godaddy email hosting plan. Though this is the entry level plan, it already offers pretty much everything you need from an email hosting service.
Godaddy email hosting Essentials plan provides:
- A personalized domain for your email ([email protected])
- 400 email aliases
- 10GB storage space for your contacts, emails, and calendars
- Your data will be synced in your devices
Godaddy’s email hosting Essentials plan generally costs $5.99 per month. You can, however, get a discount for your first year and pay only $1.99 each month! To be honest, you won’t find another dependable email hosting provider with such low pricing. Godaddy can afford to offer competitive prices because they are large and successful (or are they large and profitable because of their low prices?).
The Plus plan
Storage space is the primary distinction between the Godaddy hosting email basic plan and the Plus plan. In truth, Godaddy’s email hosting Plus plan includes 50GB of storage space rather than 10. The monthly fee for the Plus plan is $6.99.
For the Essentials plan, you will receive a discount and will only be charged $3.99 per month for the first year. GoDaddy email hosting plus package is unquestionably exceptional value for money, especially considering the generous first-year discount!
The Business Premium plan
The Godaddy hosting Premium Plan includes the entire Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, One Note, and OneDrive) as well as an email hosting service with 50GB of storage space (the same as the Email Plus plan). Godaddy’s Business Premium email hosting plan costs $15.99 per month.
This may not appear to be an especially pricey option. If you’re a private user, you can obtain almost the same thing for $6.99 per month by purchasing a Microsoft 365 membership. As previously stated, a Microsoft 365 membership includes a free customized email address. Godaddy email hosting Business Premium plan becomes considerably more convenient if you are a company rather than a private user.
To summarize:
- If you want to buy a website or hosting service, you should always acquire your email hosting from GoDaddy because you will save money.
- If you are a private user who wants to buy a personalized email address and a Microsoft 365 subscription but not a website, it is more straightforward to buy a Microsoft 365 subscription directly for $6.99pm.
You now have a Godaddy email account and wish to begin sending emails. In your Godaddy account, you may immediately access your email. However, it is far more convenient to configure your Godaddy email address on your laptop, PC, phone, and tablet to receive emails without having to log in to your Godaddy account each time.
In this section, I’ll show you how to read your emails from your Godaddy account and how to set up Godaddy email on your browser, PC, and mobile device.
How To Access Your Email From Your Godaddy Account
This is without a doubt the simplest method of gaining access to your Godaddy email hosting account. Simply log in to your Godaddy account, navigate to “Email & Office,” and click the “Sign in” option (see screenshot below).
This takes you to the Office 365 login page. To access your Office 365 space, simply enter your email address and password. At this point, all you have to do is click on the Outlook icon to access your email box. From there, you may read and send emails.
Tips: Outlook automatically categorizes emails as “Focused” or “Other.” Don’t forget to check through both folders to see all of your emails.
Godaddy Email setup on your PC
It is inefficient to read your email from your Godaddy account. Opening your Godaddy account every time you need to read your emails wastes time and prevents you from receiving email push notifications. To resolve this issue, configure your Godaddy email address in the email software on your PC.
Set up Godaddy email on the Windows Mail app
Windows includes a free Mail app. By configuring your Godaddy email in your Windows email program, you will be able to receive push notifications and view your emails without needing to use a web browser. Let’s look at how to set up Godaddy Email on your Windows Mail program.
In your Windows search bar, type Mail. Open the Mail app if you see it (as shown in the screenshot below). If the Mail app isn’t already installed, simply search for “mail” in the shop area and download it for free.
If you do not yet have an account set up in Mail, you will be automatically forwarded to the page where you may create one. If you already have an account set up in Mail, simply click “Accounts” and then “New account” to get started with your Godaddy email account.
Choose “Other account POP, IMAP” (as shown in the screenshot below):
This will open the pop-up where you need to fill out your email address, name and password. Just fill out your data (as in screenshot below) and click “Sign in”.
This was it! Your Godaddy email setup is just successfully set up on your PC. Now you can directly send and receive emails in your Mail app without having to open your browser.
Godaddy Email set-up on your Mobile phone or tablet
You can configure your Godaddy email address on a variety of mobile apps. The best choice here, in my opinion, is to use your operating system’s built-in email service. This includes Gmail for Android as well as the iOS Mail app for iOS devices. If you prefer the Outlook interface, you may set up your Godaddy email account there as well.
Because Godaddy hosting is based on Outlook, this also works quite well. I’ll now show you how to set up Godaddy email on your mobile device using Gmail, iOS mail, and Outlook. Choose your favorite!
Godaddy Email set-up on Gmail for Android phones and tablets
You can follow these below steps to install your Godaddy email address on Gmail:
- Go to your Gmail
- Select the Gmail menu (top left button and click “Settings” at the bottom of the menu)
- After the list of email accounts you have on your Gmail app is opened, click “Add account”
- This will open a menu as shown below. Choose “Exchange and Office 365”
- This will take you to the Godaddy/Office 365 login page. Just fill out your email address and password and click “Sign In”.
Congratulations!! You finished configuring your Godaddy email address with Gmail. In Gmail, you can now find your Godaddy email account alongside all of your other email addresses. To open your Godaddy email account in Gmail, simply hit the top right round icon and select your email address.
Godaddy Email setup on the Mail app for iOS phones and tablets
If you use an iPhone or iPad, you can set up your Godaddy email by following these below steps:
- Go to the “Settings” app on your iOS device (see icon below)
- Select “Other” as the account type
- Click “Add Mail account” and fill out your details (Name, Email and Password)
- Select IMAP
- Fill out “imap.secureserver.net” to be the host name in the INCOMING mail server
- Fill out “smtpout.secureserver.net” to be the host name in the OUTGOING mail server
- If required, fill in again your username and password and click “Next”.
Godaddy Email setup on the Outlook app for iOS and Android devices
If you prefer to use Outlook, you can configure your Godaddy email account via the Outlook app. These steps apply to both Android and iOS smartphones. Make sure you have the Outlook app on your mobile devices before configuring your Godaddy email in Outlook. If you don’t already have it, you can get it for free from the Play Store (for Android) or the App Store (for iOS) (for iOS).
You can follow these below steps to do the Godaddy email setup in your Outlook app:
- Open the main menu in your Outlook app (click the icon on the top left of the app)
- Click the icon in as screenshot below to add a new account
- Click Add Mail Account
- Write in your Godaddy email account and then click “Add Account”
- Fill out your password, display name and the description
- Then click “Sign in”
These are the steps to set up your Godaddy email in Outlook. You can now use your Godaddy email address in your Outlook app.
